yep, older LC’s are a ‘thing’ right now. a tragic rusted out FJ60 will get that kinda money too

Seems kinda crack pipey for a FJ80 with 240k. I bought my FZJ80 with fewer miles for $600 more. The 91 had crap brakes, a non-floating rear axle, 15 inch wheels, the bus trans and the old f motor. He should be hoping for $3500 on that guy

whats the difference between a FZJ80 an FJ80? would the locking difs make a difference?

FJ80 - 155 hp 3f-e motor, 442 non-electronic 4 speed, non-floating rear axle with drum brakes, 15 inch wheels, different dash, etc.

FZJ80 - 212 hp 1FZ-FE motor, 442 or 343 electronic 4 speed, full floater rear axle with discs, 16 inch wheels

The locker package makes a difference, but not that much. My truck has the locker package as I mentioned, and was 20,000 miles fresher when I bought it and it was an anniversary model with all the trimmings for $600 more.

yea sounds like you got quite a bit more. the only other thing I could think to drive up the price is that most of the LC’s around here have been eaten away by salt and snow

I bought mine out of state, but its true, in Utah/Colorado my same truck would have been $7500 or more.
